The Villa is situated between Lucca and Versilia in the Freddana Valley, at the bottom of Monte Magno but on the top of a hill. The Villa is surrounded by woods,mountains,valleys and lawns which face either the mountains or the sea.
Built and amplified in different periods, the Villa is composed of a nucleus which dates back to the 15th century and of many additions that reflect the 16th and 17th century architecture.
Like many other noble villas in the countryside of Lucca the Villa presents itself to its guests with a central staircase that leads to the middle, noble level: The Villa is composed of three specular levels of 190 sq.m. each floor. The large hall has two symmetric areas which lead off each side of the central hall: at the ground level there is on the one side a dining-room, a kitchen where you can eat, and a big dinning-room, on the opposite side another dining-room, a study with internet and a living-room with sky television.
A big staircase leads you to the first floor which is the noble level. It has two corridors, one takes you to a suite ( two French beds, a bathroom with hydromassage) and a second double room with an antebathroom and bathroom; from the corridor on the opposite side there are two double rooms, one of these with a bathroom immediately outside the room, the other with private bathroom and a double/twin room also with the bathroom outside the room.
Two stone staircases lead to the second level where there is a big hall: from this you go through two living-rooms and reach two double rooms each with private bathroom.
A bridge connects the central hall floor with the back park. This park has a terraced garden which extends to the top of the hill.
The Villa is ideal for everybody who wants to experience the true atmosphere of Tuscany: silence, comfort, nature and warmth.

On the opposite side of the swimming-pool there is a typical Tuscan house.In past times it was used as a stable and as a hay reserve: completly restored in a warm cosy atmosphere it greets guests in a large hall enriched with a big fire-place, a kitchen where you can eat, a twin bedroom with a bathroom immediately outside it.
The first floor has been restored with parquette typical of mountain homes in the Italian Alps with old stone walls, a “Mandolata”, complete with the original wood beams on the celling.

In front of the villa in a garden enclosed by a wall there is a small fish pond, a bower where you can eat and the Limonaia built in the 17th century, in past times it was used to store lemon trees during the winter months, today it is used as a relaxing area or an eating area (a barbeque and an oven fired with wood to make pizza etc.) Another barbeque and a table tennis near the Limonaia offer pleasant moments in the garden.

The main Villa has 7 bedrooms. If the Annex-building with 2 more bedrooms is used, the additional weekly costs are as following:

1973 Euro for the week - mid season
2333 Euro for the week - high season

But if there are kids, the Main Villa can be used also for up to 16 persons, using extra beds.

Pets cost 25 Euro extra pet/week
