With its fifty acre garden of olive groves, citrus trees, vineyards and pastures of wild flowers the hotel exists in
harmony with its secluded corner of Umbria. High among the hills and valleys of Umbria, 20 minutes
from the town of Città di Castello and in the centre of Renaissance Italy, guests are welcomed with
faultless hospitality.
With its ten rooms, each individually decorated in colours inspired by Piero della Francesca, the Villa
is an Umbrian jewel filled with convivial guests, good wine and excellent food. The restaurant uses
organic ingredients grown at the place for dishes that represent the Umbrian life.
Guest’s activities can be as strenuous or as relaxed liked, laze the day away by the pool, visit
the Chef for a master class in the art of risotto or home-made pasta or just curl up on the sofa in one of
the two sitting rooms or in the inglenook fireplace in the bar, the strains of Verdi floating through the
house, and relax with one of the many books to be found on our bookshelves or stacked on tables
throughout the house.
The Villa is a perfect retreat offering peace and tranquility in a environment far removed
from everyday care. A place for those who appreciate the good things in life, the location is all about
creating a wonderful space in which people can relax.
Rooms and suites have been decorated in an individual style, with colours ranging from soft peach to
crushed raspberry. The large wrought iron beds all have luxurious super-king sized mattresses and all
have en-suite bathrooms. The furniture and artworks are personal favourites of the owner and fill the
house for guests to enjoy.
The Villa sits at 500 metres above sea level, so each sunrise and sunset are spectacular when
viewed from the front terrace. The restaurant at the Villa is open for guests for lunch and
dinner. The chef prepares new and traditional dishes using the freshest, local ingredients.
