Villa Medici is located inside the medieval walls of Monterchi, the town that holds the most famous fresco by Piero della Francesca, "La Madonna del Parto".
Monterchi is located near famous artistic and cultural cities like Arezzo, Florence, Siena, and Perugia, with which is well connected, and near localities where artists such as Michelangelo (Caprese), Giotto (Assisi), Cimabue, Della Robbia, and Vasari (Arezzo), have left their best masterpieces.
In Monterchi excellent restaurants propose typical dishes of the Tuscan tradition and a few hundred metres from the Villa there are the Pharmacy, the Bank, the Post Office and many shops.
In the area one can fish, play tennis, football and trek; nearby there is a centre for horse back riding and a golf course.
The Villa offer place for up to 10+4 persons and is divided as following:
The Villa is composed of two floors. At ground level, entering the main door, one finds two large sitting rooms, a lovely suite with bathroom, a double bedroom with bathroom.
On the first floor, from a vast dining room there is access to two more bedrooms.
A double room with bathroom and a twin room also with bathroom. Down the corridor is the fifth twin room, with the bathroom in front. Then the large kitchen opens into the TV room in front which also has a piano.
It is possible to add 4 more sleeping places to the 10 existing ones using small, fully autonomous, flat, yet inside the same structure that once housed the family’s help. Is composed of two double bedrooms with bathroom and of a living room with a cooking corner.
The garden is large, on two levels. Right at the top, under the watchtower lies a romantic swimming whirlpool surrounded by the flowerbeds of the “Italian garden".
