This beautiful Villa is an historical stone country house dating from the 11th century. After long deep research on the territory, it was beautifully restored down to the finest detail and according to the highest standards.

The Villa was brought back to its former glory: everything has been thought of. There isn't any piece in the house that has not ben reconverted according to the very first projects and the Tuscan tradition.

Perched among green and forested valleys west of Lucca, it is surrounded by 32 hectars of olive groves and vineyards. Such a wide area allows plenty of space to wander and enjoy the peace and tranquillity of the property's extensive grounds.

Secluded from its sole neighbour its setting affords great views cross the valleys that stretch from Livorno to Versilia with the Appennini mountains as a dramatic backdrop to this countryside location.

Guests will be part ot the tranquil Tuscan nature at summer as well as at winter time.

In the 32 hectar territory with a 360° panoramic view, hunting is strictly forbidden the whole year round.

Hence guests can make the most of the natural unspoilt surroundings where they will sure spot the local fauna such as owls, poults, hawks, hedgehogs and fireflies while wandering in the lush green vegetation. In the evenings small swallows often come to water in the swimming pool of the villa, flying low and quickly tapping the surface with their beaks.

Positioned on top of a hill, the Villa is caressed by a gentle breeze which keeps heat and mosquitoes at bay.

Elegant and comfortable, the Villa revitalises the charm of older times thus meeting guests' high expectations.

The location of the Villa magnificent: Its spectacular view across the valley towards the Reinassance monuments of the cities of Lucca and Pisa is unique.

Thanks to its height of 350 m. above sea level and to its unique position, on a typical clear day guests can admire the valley below and the whole landscape up to 40 km around.

The house possesses two outdoor patios, where guests can rest and enjoy meals and evening drinks. The patio in the front of the house, arboured with century old grapevines, opens from the sittig-room and the dining-room and it is furnished with wrought-iron garden chairs. On the east side of the house there is a second patio also covered with a pergola and newly planted grapevines with direct access from the kitchen. This patio has a large stone table with seating for ten and a built-in BBQ.

At the Villa you truly have everything on your doorstep. A large private swimming pool (14x7) is just behind the house: guests can bask in the sun on the provided deckchairs, soak up the Tuscan atmosphere, rest under the little pagoda while enjoying the most beautiful panorama in the area. As the pool has soft lights, nightlong heartbreaking swims are stunningly beautiful.

Grassed paths through mature woods provide guests splendid opportunities for gentle walks or jogging throughout the vast, private parkland that surrounds the house.

The ground floor is very spacious with a large entrance, a sitting room with fireplace, a formal dining room, a large fully fitted kitchen, a small study, the TV room and a toilet.

On the first floor there are five bedrooms with ensuite bathrooms: two of them are double-bedded with ensuite bathroom with bathtub and shower, 3 are double bedrooms with 2 single beds with ensuite bathroom with shower.

The furniture and equipment mirrors the owners' exquisite taste as well as their deep respect for the Tuscan tradition.

All bedrooms have large open windows overlooking the valley and enjoying the same spectacular view characteristic of the house. Windows have their local kind of “scure” shutters.

The Villa is equipped with air condition in the bedrooms and offers internet access. It is surely a very good choice for everybody, who likes to pass a beautiful vacation in a tipical tuscany country Villa close to Lucca in Tuscany.
