Wonderful country house situated in one of the most beautiful areas of the Val d’Orcia, in recent years it has been chosen as the location for many important film sets like “The Gladiator” and “The English Patient”. The owners have restored and furnished the villa with great taste and elegance. Each colour, material and piece of furniture has been chosen to pass on to guests a great sense of warmth and elegance. Extremely well furnished with antiques.
ACCOMMODATION Independent villa sleeps 14 on the ground floor there is a large lounge and access to a big terrace with fireplace, a kitchen supplied with many accessories, a toilet, a play room with fireplace, a double bedroom with an mezzanine floor and an additional bed, private bathroom with hydromassage shower. On the first floor there are three suites comprising a living room with fireplace, double bedroom with private bathroom and hydromassage shower, one of the suites comprises a living room with fireplace a double bedroom, a bathroom with bath. There is access to the courtyard from the mezzanine floor and the first floor.
AMENITIES Swimming pool (6x12m.), air conditioning, stereo, tv, internet point, telephone, fridge-bar, hairdryer. NOTES The owners live in the annexe near the villa, the wife prepares the breakfast, cleans the house every day and dedicates two hours in the afternoon to assist her guests, the gardener deals with the outside of the house.
