Villa Donatello is an independent villa, built in the second half of the 18th century, in the centre of a property of over 18 acres of woods and olive groves. It is on the last western slopes of Mount Albano, approximately 250mt. above sea level.

Originally it was composed of two farm houses which have been joined together (maintaining however a certain independence if required).

The owners have carried out an accurate and rigorous renovation using only materials recovered from the surrounding area and period while ensuring a structure which respects the norms of bio-architecture.

All rooms have been renovated with a careful eye for details - antique furniture and ornaments, antique doors, prints, paintings and Persian carpets.

The bedrooms have beds patented Waterlily matteresses to ensure maximum comfort.

The special wooden slat supports for the matteresses can be adapted to the weight of the person and to the diverse distribution of body weight.

The lighting of each bedroom is equipped with an automatic bio-switch for disconnecting the electricity, eliminating the electric tension when all the lights are off, thus permitting freedom from magnetic fields when you are asleep.
The pool, (the water is slightly saline) 6x12mt. and depth of 1.35mt., is exclusive to the guests of Villa .

It is situated on a natural terrace a few metres below the villa level and has a wide view of the valley below.
It is an overflow pool and is equipped with hydromassage, swimjets system for water treadmill and changing room with shower and WC.

There is a sunbathing area with umbrellas, chairs, tables and sofas. Further down to the right of the pool there is a relax area with a gazebo and chairs.

Technical description of the Villa:

At the ground floor there is a dining room for 8 people, a lounge room with antique fireplace, sofas, card table and 4 chairs. A secondary equipped kitchen with electric oven, fridge,dishwasher , a downstairs bathroom with shower, a main kitchen with fireplace, fridge, electric oven, ice-maker, microwave, espresso machine, dishwasher.

At the ground floor there is also another lounge room with double face fireplace with 2 sofas, another dining room (on the other side of the open fireplace) suitable for 16 seats, a billiard room ,a tv room with satellite tv, a double sofa bed and a second downstairs bathroom with shower, and finally a small laundry with washing machine and clothes dryer.

At the intermediate floor (mezzanine) there is a double bed with twin beds and a beautiful view. Its bathroom is downstairs.

At the second floor there is a double bedroom with double bed with bathroom with Jacuzzi hydromassage tub, two double bedrooms with double bed each with en suite bathroom with Jacuzzi shower, a double bedroom with double bed with ensuite bathroom with Jacuzzi shower, a balcony single bedroom can be reached by a spiral staircase .

Always at second floor there is a triple bedroom with 3 single beds and a single bedroom, a bathroom with Jacuzzi hydromassage tub shared with the two above bedrooms.

In the villa there is also a wall safe , complete Internet wireless conexion (wi-fi); in all bathrooms there are hairdryers, 2 cell phones (to be recharged by the guests).
