Villa Alighieri was restored in 2001 and it was refurbished in 2004 to give it an up to date feel and add more modern conveniences. It is set in very private and secure grounds and, being situated in the hills, has excellent views towards Pisa. The sunsets are spectacular, too. It sleeps a maximum of 14 people.

Description

Ground Floor

Large living room with open fireplace and comfortable sofas and armchairs, small dining table. Fully fitted kitchen with oven, large hob, microwave, coffee maker, espresso machine, large fridge/freezer, toaster, kettle juicer and cooking equipment. Access to back garden and dining terrace via the kitchen
Separate dining room, laundry and one double bedroom with en-suite bathroom with shower and small private sitting room.

First Floor

Living room with comfortable seating and satellite. Master bedroom (king size bed) with dressing room and en-suite bathroom with bath and shower. Double bedroom with en-suite bathroom with bathtub and a further three double bedrooms, which share two bathrooms with shower.
Opposite the main entrance to the house is the Limonaia, a separate building, which has a large double bedroom with en-suite bathroom with shower.

Outside

An open terrace for outdoor dining runs the length of the house at the rear, with a barbeque. The terrace overlooks the private, enclosed garden featuring a large area of lawn with mature olive trees and attractive flower beds. A swimming pool (6m x 12m) with its own sun terrace completes the picture. Pool towels and sun loungers are provided.

There are electric gates for privacy and security.
